Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to take part to the XIIIth Symposium and Postgraduate Course of IASGO - Romanian Section, an event that has become a tradition and which brings into discussion, as always, problems of surgery, gastroenterology and oncology.

This year, the topic will be represented mainly by hepato-bilio-pancreatic pathology, due to the fact that the new curriculum is in accordance to that of UEMS. In addition, there will be a two-year training duration so that graduates from this course will be able to practice at European standard and the recognition within the European Union will be easier.
The Symposium will take place during the 25th - 28th of April, at the National Institute of Statistics, Bucharest.
During this scientific event, one postgraduate course will also be organized, with the topic of “Surgical techniques utilized in liver resection”. The course will have a limited number of participants, so registering early will allow you to participate.
The participation of each of you, as well as the presence at the Symposium of prestigious guests from the national and international world of surgery, oncology and gastroenterology, will contribute to the elaboration of future strategies in these fields.
Our annual reunion also offers the opportunity for exchanging experiences regarding the research we conduct for improving the results obtained in the management of our patients.
The specialized medical exhibition which takes place simultaneously with the presentations of the Symposium offers you the chance for a direct dialogue with their representatives, as well as a good opportunity to inform yourselves regarding the new products in the field which exist on the market.
The Organizing Committee will make all the efforts to ensure an attractive scientific and social program.
